We've been spending the last eight years frequently moving. Living in large apartments, small apartments, one super cute house on Harvey St where we brought home Juneau, an over-garage loft that was more spacious than our current two bedroom apartment. We had a vegetable garden when we lived in Radford and I've brought a few houseplants from one place to the next, but the older I get, the more I want to get my hands dirty. Florida seems like the perfect place to further my gardening skills and despite the fact that we have a teensy, tinsy patio, I am bound and determined to get a little more dirt and greenery in my life. I've added a Gardenia which I hope we can continue to move with us on our nomadic journey and then one day plant in our forever home, a bougainvillea which we fell in love with on our trip to Antigua, an ice plant, Mexican Heather, and a few more tropical varietals.  I still have the Christmas Cactus I received as a secret santa gift in college and a few other plants that will forever remind me of ones near and dear to my heart.

Welcome to my garden! Next up, a lemon tree?
